My sister and I had to come up with code names for our family members so they wouldn’t be too exposed in the book. It took us a while to get the creative juices flowing to find just the right names. We also decided that we would come up with other code names as we just came along. In this conversation we also discussed how long the book should be. Stephanie said that we could fill well over a 1,000 pages and perhaps even have a sequel. I said we should shoot for 150 to make a good bathroom read.

“Our family will hate us!!!!” I laughed out loud. “So what, they put us through hell!” Stephanie said and we burst out laughing. Stephanie then went on to say that she recently had a dream that we appeared on Conan O’Brian. If only that dream will come true. She said we had to play a game to see who was the more normal sibling and she won. We both agreed that the new show is a success and we die laughing every night watching him (We love you Conan!). Our goal is to hit the Today Show, Anderson 360, Larry King Live, and of course Conan when the book is released so be sure to tune in!

As always our conversation bounces around from topic to topic. I asked Stephanie what her email address was so I could send her our first page. She rattled it off and said, “The same one I have had since we have had the Internet” Whoops! Shows you how attentive I am…..I didn’t even know if she had an email. I asked her if she knew what mine was and of course she rattled it off.

We ended our conversation because my nephew had to get upstairs to take a shower. Stephanie was going to go in and battle him against the Wii machine to get him to bed. We ended our conversations with our ‘I love you’s’. We will talk again tomorrow and laugh at some memory of our crazy family is I am sure.

Are we the only ones with stories like this? In a way I hope so and then again I hope not. We cannot be the only people on the universe with families as loony as ours. What does that say about us? Until our next conversation takes place….. happy sharing.
